Zoe Booth

My name is Zoe Booth, and I am an eighth grade student at Eagle Valley Middle School. I enjoy living in the mountains of Colorado and take part in many activities our valley has to offer. I play soccer with Vail Valley Soccer Club, hockey with Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club, and I snowboard with the Vail Development Team.
Last summer, I had the chance to go to Peru with an organization called, Corazon De Esparanza. While I was in Peru I learned many things about myself and about the world. I got to participate and lead community projects with local partners such as, orphanages and churches.
This year I am going on a service trip to Cambodia with Children’s Global Alliance. In Cambodia we will be working at an orphanage. The orphanage is home to 50 abandoned, abused and orphaned children; whom we will be volunteering with.
I am excited to go to Cambodia because I want to bring love, support, and stability to the children there. I am thrilled to bond with the kids, see the culture, and help others. I also believe it is important to give back to the world, and I am happy that Children's Global Alliance is giving me the opportunity to do so.
